Noven One Project

Noven One is a boutique development of six four-level townhomes on Fourth Avenue in downtown Squamish, developed by Noven Living and built by Stanhope Projects. River Valley Millworks built and installed the kitchen and bathroom millwork in all six homes, working from AK Design's interior drawings.

The kitchens are galley layouts with cabinetry run to the ceiling. Doors and drawer fronts are slab-style in Formica Beigewood, a light woodgrain laminate, and black laminate frames wrap the upper cabinets and hood surround so they read as one piece with the dark stone backsplash. Across from the working run, a full-height storage wall holds the panelled refrigerator, drawer storage and an open espresso niche lined in black. Setting the coffee station into the tall wall keeps small appliances off the main counter.

Each primary ensuite has a woodgrain slab vanity with drawer storage under a mirrored medicine cabinet. The second bathroom pairs a black woodgrain vanity with a matching mirrored cabinet.

The same core specification runs through every cabinet: plywood-core boxes, Grass Tiomos soft-close hinges, Grass Dynapro soft-close undermount drawer slides, and plywood kick bases in place of the adjustable plastic legs that are standard in the industry. A plywood kick supports each run continuously along the floor. Laminate fronts suit a multi-family building: they hold their colour and surface through daily use, so six kitchens keep looking and performing the same.

For the staged show home, we also built a custom L-shaped dining bench that wraps the corner beneath the windows, with drawers below, detailed with Noven's team to match the kitchen.

The millwork was built in our Chilliwack shop and installed in Squamish in spring 2026.
